Find your inner creativity in this series of 6 fun and relaxed creative art & craft sessions, for Islington Carers

6 Wednesdays from 9th November till 14th December, 2.30 to 4.45pm
Cally Clock Tower Centre, Caledonian Park, N7 9HF

Islington Carers Hub and Create are teaming up to bring carers in Islington a series of weekly arts activities exploring a range of playful techniques. No previous art experience is required.

We'll find 'Sparkling joy' together, exploring drawing, printmaking and stitching techniques with lots of support from an expert tutor.

Through these 6-week workshops carers can:

  • Learn about & try different art & craft techniques
  • Experiment with art materials
  • Try lino printing and metal embossing
  • Create your own unique artworks each week.
  • Meet other carers with similar interests.

There are a limited number of places, and they will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

Your host
Rachel is a visual artist exploring hands-on processes and everyday materials. She is interested in tactile exploration, play and design. She collaborates on participatory projects with arts charities, museums and galleries.

Create use the creative arts to connect, empower, inspire and upskill people to build self-esteem, reduce isolation and enhance wellbeing.
