For almost 50 years, the all-male comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (affectionately known as The Trocks) have been delighting audiences of all ages at sell-out performances featuring their fabulous sense of fun and their flawless dance.

Come behind the scenes and see how a dance performance comes together. Step into the auditorium to watch behind the scenes as the 16 dancers and rehearsal staff of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo prepare for a performance.

Daily class and rehearsals are a necessity for every dancer and lead to the dazzling displays of musicality and virtuosity. Get an insider view in this on-stage rehearsal and ask questions to the rehearsal team.

There will be a brief introduction after the class by the Artistic Director or Ballet Master, followed by an informal chat with participants.

The company would like to stress that this is a working rehearsal in practice clothing (no stage make-up or tutus) and the audience should not expect a dress rehearsal-type presentation.

There are a limited number of places, and they will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

The Get Together is open to adults of all ages who are Islington residents, or with an Islington GP, or caring for someone who is an Islington resident.
