When: Every Tuesday 11am-12noon

How do we learn to "look at" and understand a painting? Join us weekly to learn more about paintings from different eras and of different styles, led by our knowledgeable volunteer hosts.  Share your ideas too if you'd like!

Examples of recent guest speakers:

Nick Pace is an artist and National Gallery Educator. Nick is a specialist in Old Master techniques and studio practices. He regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy Summer Show and most recently at the Jerwood Gallery.

Bethan Durie is a National Gallery Educator. After completing an MA at the Royal College of Art, Bethan went on to work in the learning departments of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Garden Museum, and most recently at the National Gallery. Her specialisms include design, contemporary illustration, and printmaking.
