This month we'll have speakers sharing information about the following:
10.30am - Updates, Shamin Noronha, Age UK Islington followed by talk on ‘Who Are the Information & Advice Team’.
10.45am - What is Advocacy & How to make a Referral - Lisa Calvert, I&A Caseworker, Age UK Islington
11.15am - Break for food & refreshments
11.30am - Benefit & Grant Check - Jenna Hyseni, I&A Caseworker, Age UK Islington
11.45am - Dance workout & singalong - Richard Hadfield, winner of Britain's Got Talent
1pm - One to One Advice Sessions with Age UK Islington I&A Team
1.30pm - End of event
Who's it for?
It's for adults over 18 years who are Islington residents / those with an Islington GP or those caring for someone who is an Islington resident.
The group decides what they want to get out of meeting, and will choose topics for ongoing/future monthly discussions. It's a safe, confidential space to discuss what you want to discuss.
There's no commitment to attend ongoing sessions. Why not give one a try?
There will be lots of opportunity to share your experiences and to ask questions. Drop in for a short time, or the whole session - it's up to you!
